In the aftermath of 9/11 Osama Bin Laden, the former leader of Al-Qaeda, became public enemy No.1. Wanted dead or alive, he managed to evade capture for 10 years despite the world’s state-of-the-art intelligence surveillance, and top minds pooling all their resources to find him. He was finally tracked down to a location in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in a secret compound that was subsequently raided by US Navy SEALS. Bin Laden was shot through the left eye and died instantly, in an operation code-named Operation Neptune Spear on May 2nd 2011.
9/11 was arguably one of the most catastrophic events in the history of the world, due in part to the recipient of the attack being the United States of America, a world super power, and also with the emerging digital age where this event was able to be beamed around the world at lightening speed capturing all the horrific images live as they happened. 9/11 was unlike any other disaster before it.
Numerous claims that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was complicit in the disappearance of Bin Laden and suspicion regarding the precise nature of his CIA connections refuse to go away. Add to that the CIA’s alleged involvement in the 9/11 attacks and Bin Laden’s burial at sea raised more questions than answers, all of which leave this saga mired in controversy.
The wanted fugitive and former CIA employee Edward Snowden’s sensational claims published in The Moscow Tribune in 2015, which are as yet unsubstantiated by any another source, apparently believes Bin Laden to be far from deceased. He was quoted as saying:
“I have documents showing that Bin Laden is still on the CIA Payroll. He is still receiving more than $100,000 a month, which is being transferred through some front businesses and organisations, directly to his Nassau bank account. I am not certain where he is now, but in 2013, he was living quietly in his villa with five of his wives and many children”.
Snowden states that the CIA orchestrated the ‘fake death’ of Bin Laden, who is under their protection.
Part of the reluctance of many to believe such claims are perhaps, understandably, due to the idea that their own government could be behind a plot involving so many American and foreign citizen’s lives, used as sacrificial lambs purely for their own twisted agenda. A minor detail that would unlikely be aired by any of the corporate owned mainstream media networks, and in turn rubbished by other websites tasked by the same sources with mopping up any potential controversies. More importantly this would also indicate an unparalleled level of megalomania, committed by forces that view their citizens as expendable fodder in their long-term aims of the systematic removal of our civil liberties and establishing a New World Order.
If Snowden’s (and other’s) claims are at all credible…it would quite simply be unthinkable, and would represent a crime committed on an unprecedented scale. Isn’t it high time that we all woke up to the truth?
